Questions? We have Some Answers

Planning Your Visit

Are tickets refundable?

Since these unique events often sell out quickly, all ticket sales are final and non-refundable. We encourage you to secure yours early!

Can I buy tickets at the market entrance?

You must purchase Friday evening market tickets online in advance; they will not be sold at the door. For the Saturday afternoon market, you can buy tickets online or right at the entrance.

Can I sign up for a workshop at the market?

Workshop tickets must be purchased online ahead of time. We cannot guarantee any remaining seats will be available on the market days themselves, so book early to guarantee your spot!

Will you do a second Long Table Dinner?

Sorry, there's only one magical seating for the Long Table Dinner "A Taste of Europe" on Thursday, Nov. 27. It's an intimate event, so tickets are limited and must be purchased online in advance.

The Market Expereince

What is the difference between the Friday and Saturday markets?

The Friday evening market is our sparkling, adult-oriented night out (perfect for a date or friends!), featuring specialty drinks and enchanting ambiance. The Saturday afternoon market is our warm, family-friendly event, focused on daytime shopping and activities for all ages!

Can I bring my kids to the market?

The Friday evening market is for adults (19+). The Saturday afternoon market is a family-friendly celebration welcome to everyone!

Will there be food to eat at the market?

Absolutely! A delicious variety of traditional European Christmas market foods and drinks—savoury and sweet, hot and cold—will be available for purchase at both markets. Don't forget to check your ticket to see what complimentary treats are included!

What if it rains?

The magic happens rain, shine, or snow! While the event is mainly outdoors, we have plenty of covered areas and some cozy heated spots. Just be sure to dress for the weather to keep your holiday cheer strong!

What to Prepare For

What payment methods are accepted?

While some vendors accept cards, many prefer cash-only, so stocking up on cash is a smart way to ensure you don't miss any unique market treasures!

Should I bring my own bags?

Yes, please do! Help us be green and bring your own shopping bags. We'll have a few available for purchase if you forget yours.

What should I wear?

The market is mostly outdoors, so please bundle up! We recommend dressing warmly and in layers so you can stay cozy all evening or afternoon.

What kind of footwear is best?

Since many of our walking surfaces are gravel, please choose comfortable and practical footwear!

What about parking?

Parking right at Fruits and Shoots is limited. Street parking is allowed, but please be kind to our neighbours! We strongly suggest carpooling with friends to save space.

What if I have accessibility needs?

We are happy to help make your visit smooth! Please contact Jack directly, and we can arrange reserved parking and provide assistance where possible.

Will the market be well-lit?

The market will glow with café and ambient lighting. Just a friendly note: some areas will be dimly lit, so please walk with care and enjoy the market.
