Sweet Cherry | Van

‘Van’ was developed in British Columbia in the 1930s at the Summerland Research Station, where it was bred for flavour, firmness, and productivity. The glossy, deep red cherries are sweet, juicy, and well-textured, ripening mid-season. In addition to being an excellent fresh-eating cherry, ‘Van’ is widely valued as a pollinator for other sweet cherry varieties, making it especially useful in mixed plantings.
