Grafting Apple Trees Workshop

Interested in learning how to graft your own apple trees? Join us for an in-depth hands-on workshop with Jerome Ter Haar, a highly experienced grafter and former owner of Pacific Northwest Propagators.

This workshop will focus on the whip-and-tongue grafting method, one of the most reliable techniques for fruit tree propagation. You’ll graft and take home two apple trees in potting soil, along with a brand-new Victorinox grafting knife (valued at $49.99).

You’ll learn; the principles of grafting and how it improves fruit trees, how to make strong successful graft unions and gain hands-on practice with expert instruction. 

This class is designed for gardeners looking to deepen their propagation skills. All materials, including rootstocks and scion wood, are provided.

We’ll be working mostly indoors in a heated space, but dress for the weather. As always, expect good company, great learning, and some home baking with your coffee or tea.
