Japanese Plum | Early Golden

‘Early Golden’ is a long-established plum valued for its early ripening and dependable crops. Producing medium fruit with warm golden-yellow skin and sweet, juicy flesh, it is often one of the first plums ready in the season. Traditionally grown in home orchards for fresh eating and preserves, ‘Early Golden’ is appreciated for its bountiful crop in early summer just after cherry harvest is past. Early Golden plums require another Japanese plum as a pollination partner, we recommend Shiro, Methley, or Satsuma.
