Veronica Spicata “Melanie White” is a fantastic addition to the meadow garden; its pristine white flowers and clean, crisp foliage add structure without diminishing the meadow effect. Melanie White features strong white spikes of flowers beginning in June and continuing through the summer. I like to contrast the stiff spikes with Roses, Sanguisorba, Astrantia and other flowers that form Globes or buttons and claim a more rambling growth habit. This Veronica variety stands over 2 ft tall and makes a great cut flower. Hardy to zone 4.
